I’ve mentioned before how important partnerships are to me. They can come in so many forms. Often, we don’t even realize that we are amidst a partnership. The official definition of a partner is a person who shares or is associated with another in some action or endeavor. With this in mind, think of how many times a week you form partnerships for a certain outcome.
I am presently organizing an event for Mothers’ Day. It is called a “Sip, Shop, and Share”. I added the
Share part because I wanted to be sure to give back to the community. I reached out to several women entrepreneurs to see if they would like to be part of the evening. The response was tremendous. It is so exciting putting this event together knowing how many wonderful women are working together to make it successful.
To add to the excitement, the event is supporting the Moms Helping Moms Foundation. We are asking for donations of baby products – diapers, toiletries, wipes. The mission: no baby should ever have to go without life’s basic necessities. A perfect way to celebrate all mothers!
The Sip, Shop and Share will feature the expertise of the women entrepreneurs who are participating. Heather of Luminous MedSpa and Salon will be sharing some special skincare treatments. I can’t wait to try them!
Mary of Faces by Mary is going to divulge some of her makeup secrets. I need to know! Kristine is bringing crystal jewelry from Touchstone Crystals. So lovely and delicate.
Wine tasting is courtesy of Lisa from Wine Cellars. I’ll need a sip or two! Elizabeth of Zing! Meals will provide the food tasting. Oh yum!
Nitra (Glitter Trunk) is bringing her trunk of glitter. Can’t wait to get a glimpse!
