Tis' the Season to be Grateful, Fa la la la la, la la la la!
Scooch A Mi opened in Chatham, NJ right in time for the Holiday Season. I'm excited to be part of this community during this festive time. So many events are coming up (particularly in November and December) and hope you will join us.
With Thanksgiving almost here, this is a great time to express my gratitude for the many people who helped me on this journey to opening Scooch A Mi Boutique and Gallery.
First and foremost, Artie of Crowell Construction, Kinnelon, NJ. Do call Artie if you need any renovations or additions on your home or office, 973-838-4016. I've known Artie for over 30 years. I've know his wife, Jamie, for most of my life. Artie put up with my wanting to be an active participant in the renovations for the boutique. We had lots of laughs and he had a lot of eye rolling. But Artie was so patient and got the boutique finished in record time. And it looks great. Jamie came and helped me mulch and paint on Saturdays. How grateful I am to have such a good friend that would help me on her days off!
Marcia and I went into this project together. Marcia has an Art Studio and Gallery upstairs where she creates her magnificent paintings and displays them for art lovers. We had many laughs, tears, frustrations, trials, errors and hugs during our journey. We made it, though. Now we look forward to our continued collaboration in the Chatham community.
My family was wonderfully supportive. Thank you to Pierelle, Perrine, Peter and Kathy. Also, hugs to my cousins for showing their faith in me. Love them all!
Then there are the other great women in my life – Shelley, Diane, Lisa, Nitra, Victoria, The Women of BIG and the Mindful Mompreneurs. Thank you for your support.
And the networking friends from PEIR. I so appreciate you all!
The two beautiful ladies that made my Grand Opening a success – Nubia DuVall Wilson of Cielo Consulting and Keri Barnett of Barnett Marketing.
I'm not done yet. I must also thank:
Jimmy and his team of Jimmy Fleming Electric, Chatham NJ
Maia Kumari Gilman, Architect, Chatham NJ
The Carpet Girl
Andy Plumbing and Heating, Whippany, NJ
David, Marcia's Husband
The Danish Baking Girl, Zing Meals and Mexican Spice
John Haeringer, Elysse Home Design, Chatham, NJ
And neighbor Ken Ryan, Chatham, NJ
I thank you all. I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving, the joys of the coming Holiday Season and a wonderful New Year.
